To whom it may concern:

I have been a fan of your home video releases for quite some time, and I would like to thank you for the high quality products that you provide for movie and television fans.  I am writing to request that the 1980's classic cartoon series SPIDER-MAN & HIS AMAZING FRIENDS be released on DVD.  Disney has already begun releasing the 90's SPIDER-MAN cartoon series in an admirable fashion but with 1980's nostalgia at a high I feel the need to release SPIDER-MAN & HIS AMAZING FRIENDS could not come at a more opportune time.  From what I have witnessed the past few years on internet sites & Ebay, you guys are losing a fortune from fans/bootleggers who are selling episodes of this nostalgic cartoon themselves.  Airing these episodes on ABC FAMILY is only giving them better quality copies to sell.  And, heck...there's no better time to prepare the release of a Spider-Man DVD with the inevitable SPIDER-MAN movie sequels coming. Not to mention the success of the recently released SPIDER-MAN 1967 COMPLETE COLLECTION. Don’t stop! You're on a roll!

As a true fan of the series, here's what I would most like to see included in a DVD release (in order of desire) of SPIDER-MAN AND HIS AMAZING FRIENDS:

1. All 24 episodes released in chronological (production) order

2. All 24 episodes uncut (with the original Stan Lee narration that is partially missing from your masters)

3. The "making of" special called SPIDER-MAN: ON THE MOVE

(co-produced by KDKA Pittsburgh and KPIX San Francisco)

4. SPECIAL FEATURE: The three different intros used for the show

5. The 15 second teasers that originally aired before each episode

6. SPECIAL FEATURE: Audio commentary from any writer or creator(s)

7. SPECIAL FEATURE: Storyboards for at least one episode per disc

8. SPECIAL FEATURE: a script for at least one episode per disc

9. Isolated musical score section showcasing the brilliant work of John Douglas

An excellent source of information for this show is the web site www.spider-friends.com.  The webmaster there has contact information for all of the special features listed and most of the writers and creators of the show.  He is also constantly in contact with many fans and associates with all of the best Spider-Man websites, insuring full support from them.  Please give this request serious consideration.  I look forward to your reaction.

                                                                                 Sincerely,
